Nuno Xavier Airport Upgrade: São Tomé Reopens Talks with China for $100 Million in Funding

São Tomé and Príncipe is taking decisive steps to modernize its primary international gateway, Nuno Xavier International Airport, with a clear focus on meeting global aviation standards and boosting the national economy. While a Turkish company, FB Group, holds a 49-year concession for the airport’s redevelopment, the government has reopened discussions with China regarding a $100 million financial donation that could further support the ambitious project.
