Kenya has awarded China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) a $2.9 billion (375.4 billion shilling) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to upgrade and expand Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Kenyan media reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
