Uganda Airlines Signs $982.51 Million Deal with Boeing for 10 Aircraft

Airlines signed a Shs3.7 trillion (982.51 million USD) aircraft acquisition
agreement with Boeing on Wednesday June 10, 2026, for ten airplanes to adjust
its long-haul, regional, and cargo operations. The contract was signed at State
House Entebbe by Uganda Airlines Acting Chief Executive Officer Girma Wake and
Boeing Vice President of Sales for Africa Anbessie Yitbarek, in the presence of
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
