Tunisia Invests $4 Million in a Solar Power Plant for Tozeur and Djerba Airports
Tunisia will
mobilize an investment of 11 million Tunisian dinars ($3.72
million) to build a 4-megawatt photovoltaic solar power plant to supply the
international airports of Tozeur-Nefta and Djerba-Zarzis. According to the
Civil Aviation and Airports Authority (OACA), the National Agency for Energy
Conservation (ANME) and the contracted company signed the agreement on Friday,
June 19, 2026, at the ANME headquarters in Tunis.
