Burkina Faso to Relaunch Ouagadougou-Donsin International Airport Project
The Société
des Aéroports du Faso (SAFA) has announced the upcoming resumption of
construction at the Ouagadougou-Donsin International Airport (AIOD), following
a detailed technical site review conducted on Saturday, March 28, 2026. This
step follows a period of uncertainty marked by contractual revisions and
structural audits necessitated by the project’s suspension.
