The Czech Republic sees Ethiopia as a gateway to the African market
The Czech Republic is seeking to deepen its aviation partnership with
Ethiopia, signaling a broader commitment to strengthening bilateral ties beyond
their existing air service agreements. This intention was reaffirmed during a
high-level meeting on May 19, 2025, between H.E. Miroslav Kosek, the Czech
Ambassador to Ethiopia, and Getachew Mengiste, Director General of the
Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA).
