East Africa Moves Closer to Open Skies with Regional Air Services Agreement Roadmap
Aviation experts and regional policymakers have finalized a
comprehensive roadmap to adopt and implement a Multilateral Air Service
Agreement (MASA) across Eastern Africa, aimed at driving market liberalization
and lowering transport costs, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa
(ECA) announced on July 2, 2026.
