Nigerian Unions Seek NAMA privatisation, Oppose NCAA Funding Cuts
Four Nigerian aviation unions have urged the
government to privatise or commercialise the Nigerian Airspace Management
Agency (NAMA), citing chronic underfunding that hampers modernisation of the
country’s air navigation infrastructure, even as they warn against moves to cut
funding for Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) the sector’s main safety regulator.
