Uganda Begins Phase 2 of Entebbe Airport Expansion
After completing Phase I of the
Entebbe International Airport expansion project, Uganda is now moving forward
with the launch of Phase II, which notably includes the construction of a
second terminal. Engineer Ayub Sooma, Director of Airports and Aviation
Security at the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), provided an update on
the progress of the works in an interview with the public broadcaster UBC on
Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
