Tanzania revives the construction project of Serengeti International Airport
The Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) signed a contract with Saba Engineering Private Company Limited on Thursday, February 27, 2025. This agreement grants the Ethiopian company the consultancy and design contract for the future Serengeti International Airport. This project, contested by environmentalists, has been stagnant for about 15 years, as the site is located near a national reserve classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
