Senegal : Historic Transfer of Air Navigation Services at Saint-Louis Airport to ASECNA Finalized

A significant milestone in Senegal’s aviation history was marked on Thursday, March 20, 2025, with the official transfer of air navigation services at Ousmane Masseck Ndiaye Airport in Saint-Louis to the Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA). The handover ceremony, held at the airport’s premises, was presided over by Senegal’s Minister of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport, Yankoba Diémé, and attended by a host of dignitaries from the aviation sector, territorial authorities, religious and customary leaders, parliamentarians, and social partners.
