Nigeria Injects About $587 million Into Lagos, Kano, and Port Harcourt Airport Upgrades
Nigeria’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the release of 900 billion naira ($587.77 million) for the
rehabilitation of infrastructure at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in
Lagos, Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, and Port Harcourt
International Airport. The
announcement was made by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development,
Festus Keyamo, following the seventh FEC meeting chaired by President Bola
Tinubu on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Abuja.
