Ethiopia and USA Discuss Bishoftu Airport Financing
Ethiopia is exploring financing partnerships
with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to advance
its $7.8 billion Abusera Mega Airport City project, an ambitious development
set to transform the nation’s aviation capacity and logistics infrastructure. Discussions were held on the margins of the
IMF and World Bank annual meetings on October 17, 2025.
