Egypt, Qatar’s Al Mana Holding sign $200 million sustainable aviation fuel deal

Egypt signed a $200 million investment agreement on Dec. 15, 2025 with Qatar’s Al Mana Holding to develop a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production plant in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), reinforcing the country’s strategy to position itself as a regional hub for sustainable aviation fuel production.
