Egypt Launches Tender for the Concession of Hurghada Int’l Airport
Egypt has officially launched the first tender under its national
airport privatization program, inviting qualified private-sector partners to
manage, operate, and develop Hurghada International Airport. The move marks the
beginning of a broader strategy to introduce private participation across 11
Egyptian airports, while maintaining full state ownership and sovereignty over
all aviation assets.
