Angola Invests €189 Million to Build Mavinga Int’l Airport
Mavinga Airport in Angola’s Cuando Cubango province is set for a major
transformation following a presidential order to construct and elevate it to
international status. The directive, signed on November 7, 2025, by President
João Lourenço, authorizes an expenditure of €188.8 million for the project,
which will officially establish the Mavinga International Airport
(Aeroporto Internacional de Mavinga – AIM).
