AfDB Commits to Supporting Ethiopian Airlines in Bishoftu Mega-Airport Project
On March 14, 2025, Ethiopian Airlines Group took a transformative step toward enhancing Ethiopia’s aviation infrastructure by signing a Letter of Intent (LoI) with the African Development Bank (AfDB). The agreement, formalized by Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew and AfDB Vice President for Regional Development, Integration, and Strategy Nnenna Nwabufo, lays the foundation for the ambitious Bishoftu International Airport Development Project.
