ACSA and City of Ekurhuleni Partner to Advance OR Tambo Aerotropolis Development
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) and the City of Ekurhuleni, known as “Africa's Workshop” due to its industrial significance, have formalized a 3-year partnership to propel the Aerotropolis project at OR Tambo International Airport (ORTIA). This collaboration solidified through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) announced on November 29, 2024, which aims to transform the airport and its surrounding areas into a thriving economic hub.
