West Africa Moves Closer to Establishing Regional Aviation Safety Agency
From February 18 to 20, 2025, the 6th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Regional Unit for the Supervision of Civil Aviation Safety and Security (URSAC) has taken place in Dakar, marking a significant step toward the creation of the Community Agency for the Supervision of Civil Aviation Safety and Security (ACSAC). This initiative, spearheaded by the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), aims to bolster aviation safety and security across its member states.
