Uganda's CAA Chief Appointed to CANSO Global Executive Committee
The Director General
of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), Mr. Fred K. Bamwesigye, has been
appointed as a Member at Large on the Executive Committee of the Global Air
Navigation Services Committee. The appointment was made by the Civil Air Navigation
Services Organisation (CANSO) and confirmed unanimously during the 29th CANSO
Annual General Meeting held on May 15, 2025, in Lisbon, Portugal, alongside the
Airspace World 2025 event.
