The United States Donates a Batch of Security Equipment to Togo
On July 2,
2025, Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport in Lomé received a major
security upgrade following the donation of advanced screening equipment from
the United States. The handover, led by the U.S. Transportation Security
Administration (TSA) through the U.S. Embassy in Togo, is a strategic milestone
in bolstering aviation safety at the country’s main international gateway.
