Southern Africa: AASA Signs MoU with IATA to Promote CO₂ Emissions Calculation
The Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA) has signed a
Memorandum of Understanding with the International Air Transport Association
(IATA) to promote the adoption of IATA’s CO₂ Connect emissions calculator among
its 16 member airlines and carriers across the continent. With this agreement,
AASA becomes the first airline association globally to formally endorse the CO₂
Connect platform.
