South Sudan : Aviation Authority Strengthens Partnerships at Aviation Africa Summit
The South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA) has stepped up efforts
to advance the country’s aviation sector by forging key partnerships during the
Aviation Africa Summit & Exhibition, held in Kigali, Rwanda, from September
4–5, 2025. According to
a press statement issued by the authority on September 11, 2025, the authority met with counterparts from the
Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA), the
International Air Transport Association (IATA), and NAVPASS. Each discussion
centered on capacity building, technical support, and South Sudan’s long-term
goal of regaining full control of its airspace.
