Senegal Advances Sustainable Aviation Fuel Ambitions as ICAO Feasibility Study Reveals Strong Potential
Senegal has taken a significant step toward decarbonising its aviation sector following the presentation of preliminary results from a national feasibility study on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The study, conducted under an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) programme funded by the European Union, highlights Senegal’s strong potential to develop a domestic SAF value chain aligned with the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).
