On May 25, 2025, the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Uganda Airlines, officially launched the Nigeria–East/Southern Africa Air Cargo Corridor at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
