Nigeria and Brazil Sign New Aviation Air Agreements
The Nigerian Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus
Keyamo, and his Brazilian counterpart for Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa
Filho, signed a new Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) on Monday, August
25, 2025, in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. This agreement replaces the 2018
BASA, which, according to both countries, no longer reflected the current
realities of civil aviation.
