Libreville Hosts First AFI Aviation System Planning and Implementation Group Meeting
The Gabonese capital has once again become the focal point of African
aviation cooperation, as it hosts the First Meeting of the Africa–Indian
Ocean Aviation System Planning and Implementation Group (AASPG/1). The landmark
session, which officially opened on Monday, November 3, 2025, underscores
the region’s collective commitment to advancing civil aviation safety,
efficiency, and sustainability under the framework of the International
Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
