Egypt Fast-Tracks Sustainable Aviation Fuel Plant in Alexandria
Egypt has reported notable progress in establishing the Egyptian Sustainable Aviation Fuel Company (ESAF), a key component in its efforts to advance sustainable aviation across the country and the broader African region. ESAF, launched in November 2024 to spearhead Egypt’s green energy transition in the aviation sector, is making substantial strides toward operationalizing its ambitious $530 million project.
