DRC Takes Step Towards Aviation Safety Overhaul as ICAO lifts security concern
The Democratic Republic of
Congo has made progress in strengthening its aviation security oversight after
the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) lifted a Significant
Safety Concern (SSeC) that had been imposed on the country, the government said
on Friday June 8, 2026.
