COMESA Countries Commit to Accelerate SAATM Implementation
On the occasion of the Airshow for the Pilot
Implementation Project of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM), held
on August 18 and 19, 2025, in Lusaka, Zambia, organized by the African Civil
Aviation Commission (AFCAC) in collaboration with the African Union Commission
(AUC) and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), the
twelve member countries of this economic bloc made commitments to accelerate
the implementation of SAATM.
