BAGAIA Establishes New Board of Directors to Strengthen Regional Governance
The Banjul Accord Group Accident Investigation Agency (BAGAIA) has officially established a Board of Directors. The announcement was made during BAGAIA’s 12th Commission Meeting held in Abuja from July 28 to 29, 2025. The Banjul Accord Group Accident Investigation Agency (BAGAIA) has appointed Col. Lawrence R. Jarra, commissioner of the Gambia's Aircraft Investigation Bureau (AIB), as the chairman and Dominic Rodrigues, Chairman of the Institute for the Prevention and Investigation of Aeronautical and Maritime Accidents (IPIAAM) of Cape Verde as the vice chairman. The BAGAIA Commissioner will be the Secretary of the Board.
