Argentine manufacturer FAdeA targets Ethiopia for African expansion
The Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) has announced a significant step in strengthening aviation ties between Ethiopia and Argentina. On March 4, 2025, following high-level discussions between ECAA Director-General Getachew Mengiste and the Argentine Ambassador to Ethiopia, Juan Ignacio Rocatagliata, both countries agreed to facilitate deeper collaboration in the aviation sector. A key outcome of these discussions is the proposed establishment of a branch of Argentina’s leading aircraft manufacturer, FAdeA (Fábrica Argentina de Aviones), in Ethiopia.
