The government grants a new $5.25 million guarantee to Cabo Verde Airlines to finance the lease of its Boeing 737 MAX 8.
Cabo Verde Airlines (TACV), the national flag carrier of Cabo Verde, has
been granted a $5.25 million sovereign guarantee by the Cabo Verde government
to support its ongoing aircraft leasing operations. The guarantee, formalized
through Resolution No. 60/2025, published in the Official Bulletin No. 59, I
Series on July 10, 2025, is aimed at reinforcing a leasing agreement with
Altitude II Aircraft Seven DAC for a Boeing B737-8, a critical asset in the
airline’s operational fleet.
