Libyan Government Announces Plans to Launch a New National Airline
Libya has unveiled plans to establish a new state-owned airline, a significant step in its efforts to revitalize the aviation sector. Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah approuved the initiative during a high-level meeting on Monday, December 2, 2024. The North African country currently has two state-owned carriers and around half a dozen active private operators.
