Nigeria Aviation Watchdog Bans Pilots from Flying for Multiple Airlines

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has introduced a new regulation prohibiting licensed flight crew members from working for multiple airlines at the same time. This directive, effective November 11, 2024, puts an end to the practice of "mercenary" pilots flying for more than one carrier, which is now prohibited. The primary aim of this directive is to bolster safety standards within Nigeria's aviation sector.
