Somali Aviation Authority Warns FlyDubai and Ethiopian Airlines Over Sovereignty Issues
The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has issued stern warnings to both FlyDubai and Ethiopian Airlines, accusing them of actions that undermine Somalia's sovereignty.The SCAA alleges that both airlines have misrepresented Somali destinations on their platforms, notably listing Hargeisa as part of Somaliland, a self-declared state since 1991 whose autonomy has consistently been disputed by Mogadishu.
