Kenya Airways Aims for a 50-Aircraft Fleets by 2035
Kenya Airways
(KQ) plans to expand its fleet to more than 50 aircraft by 2035, up from its
current 34, according to local media reports. This expansion plan, unveiled by
the interim CEO of the Kenyan state-owned airline, George Kamal, on Friday, May
29, 2026, at the KQ Aviation Media Lab held in Mombasa, remains contingent upon
a new shareholder acquiring a stake in KQ.
