Private carrier Brazza Airlines is set to launch commercial operations on April 21 on the strategic Brazzaville–Pointe-Noire route, positioning itself as a direct competitor to state-owned Equatorial Congo Airlines (ECAir) and reshaping the fragile balance of the Republic of Congo’s domestic aviation market. The airline’s entry comes at a time of continued operational uncertainty for the national carrier and is already raising regulatory questions over the structure of its operating model.
