Alexandre Mukendi Tshikala Appointed Permanent CEO of Congo Airways
On Thursday, January 16, 2025, President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo appointed Alexandre Tshikala Mukendi as the new CEO of Congo Airways, the country's national airline.Mukendi will be assisted by Mamitsho Pontshi, who has been retained as Deputy General Manager. The appointments were announced via a series of presidential decrees broadcast on the Congolese National Radio and Television (RTNC).
