South Africa: Aviation Co-ordination Services Retains Provisional Hold on Baggage Handling Contract

This 2 may 2025,the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has dismissed an appeal
by Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), upholding a previous ruling that
allows Aviation Co-ordination Services (ACS) to acquire new equipment for
baggage screening and handling at South African airports. The decision marks
another legal victory for ACS, which has maintained a de facto monopoly on the
service for more than two decades.
