Port Sudan Airport Closes Amid Drone Strikes, Isolating Sudan from the World
Sudan was effectively cut off from international air travel
early this Tuesday 06 may 2025 after the
Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched drone strikes on Port Sudan, including a
direct hit on the city’s international airport the only functional gateway for international
flights since the closure of Khartoum International Airport in 2023.
