Kenya Moves Forward with Malindi Airport Expansion to Attract International Flights
Kenya’s
government has reaffirmed its commitment to upgrading Malindi International
Airport for direct international flights, a move expected to revitalize the
country’s coastal tourism. Coast Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha announced
the plans on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, during an inspection of the facility.
