Cape Verde's airports handled a record 3 million passengers in 2024, surpassing the pre-pandemic high of 2.7 million recorded in 2019, according to the country's Civil Aviation Agency. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 2.4 million, while domestic travel reached around 614,000.
