Biometric passports in Kenya now PKD-certified by ICAO
Kenya has become
the 89th nation to deposit its Country Signing Certification Authority (CSCA)
public key certificate into the International Civil Aviation Organization
(ICAO) Public Key Directory (PKD). This achievement, announced by the country’s
Civil Aviation Authority on February 15, 2024, will facilitate seamless data
exchange with nations worldwide for the authentication of biometric passports.
