Zambia and China are currently in discussions to establish a direct air link between their two territories, a move that is expected to significantly boost their trade and tourism relations. Like nearly all African countries, Zambia maintains trade relations with China. Despite this, there are no direct flights between the Southern African country and one of the world's leading economic power.
