Senegal Plans to Build an Ultralight Aircraft Assembly Unit
The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) of Senegal, in collaboration with the aeroclub "Les Ailes du Sénégal," is set to establish an assembly unit for ultralight motorized aircraft (ULMs), along with a maintenance and training center. This initiative was discussed during a meeting between ANACIM's Director General, Dr. Diaga Basse, and the founder of the aeroclub, Eric Bruno, on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
