Ninth Edition of AFI Aviation Week Kicks Off in Libreville, Gabon
The crème de la crème of African civil aviation has gathered in Libreville, Gabon, since Monday, July 15, 2024, for the Ninth Edition of the AFI Aviation Week, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and graciously hosted by Gabon Governement. The opening ceremony was presided over by the Vice President of the Republic, representing the Gabonese Head of State, Joseph Owondault Berre, in the presence of Juan Carlos Salazar Gómez, the Secretary General of ICAO, and Salvatore Sciacchitano, the organization's President.Running until July 19, the Radisson Blu Hotel will provide the setting for this significant event aimed at further developing the appropriate strategies and providing the necessary actions to support the enhancement of the aviation industry in Africa.
