Kenya Launches Innovative Project to Assess Aviation's Economic Contribution
In 2018, civil aviation contributed $3.2 billion to Kenya's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and supported 410,000 jobs. To further understand the sector's contribution to the country's economy, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), and Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) have decided to work hand in hand.
