Embraer E2 Jets Secure South African Approval
Embraer’s next-generation E-Jets E2 family, specifically the E190-E2 and
E195-E2, has secured Type Acceptance Certification from the South African Civil
Aviation Authority (SACAA). Announced on September 3, 2025, this milestone
strengthens the aircraft’s foothold in Africa, where Embraer already dominates
the up-to-150-seat market segment.
