Angola Enlists SITA to Implement API/PNR System for Enhanced Aviation Security

Nacional da Aviação Civil (ANAC) in Angola is the regulatory body responsible
for overseeing and ensuring the safety of civil aviation within the country.
ANAC plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of air
operations in Angola. On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the institution signed a
contract with Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques (SITA)
– the world’s leading specialist in air transport communications and
information technology – for the implementation of the Advance Passenger
Information and Passenger Name Record (API/PNR) system.
